MicroDynamics Unveils MIRA Connect for Third-Party Data Visibility
December 1, 2025, Woodstock, GA –A NEW ERA OF CONNECTION.
MicroDynamics, a global leader in the advanced manufacturing of inspection and measuring systems, is excited to announce the launch of MIRA Connect, a new MIRA capability that facilitates integration and visibility of MIRA anilox data with a variety of flexo industry systems.
“With MIRA Connect, industry partners have the ability to easily integrate anilox quality data from MicroDynamics,” states Brent Zurcher, Director of Operations. “This new ability with MIRA Connect creates optimized workflows and puts critical information in the places pressroom teams need it most.”
Unveiled at LabelExpo Europe 2025, MIRA is a secure intelligence platform that revolutionizes anilox quality control by making data accessible, actionable, and shareable anywhere through web and mobile. MIRA Connect is an extension of the MIRA intelligence platform.
With MIRA Connect, MIRA’s anilox dataset can be viewed and updated across systems such as press equipment, laser engravers, ERP software, anilox cleaning equipment and more. Converters can then view anilox quality data directly in partner interfaces. Industry suppliers integrating MIRA Connect into their flexo systems are able to offer their clients a smarter, more connected solution.
SOMA Engineering is the first to implement MIRA Connect, enabling a seamless workflow with the Anilox Management System of their Optima2 CI flexo press. On November 20, 2025, attendees of the SOMA Innovation Day were the first to see MIRA Connect in action during the demo of SOMA’s Color Intelligence Suite. MIRA Connect provides SOMA’s Anilox Management System with accurate, up-to-date anilox inventory and performance data, viewed directly in the Optima2 interface.
With the unveiling of this latest MIRA capability, MicroDynamics is focused on ushering the industry toward a future of automated, closed-loop quality control across the full supply chain, through innovative intelligence systems.
Carl Powell, Chairman, concludes, “MIRA Connect is an Industry 4.0 solution built for the next generation of print technology. The future of the industry is smart, optimized and connected, and MicroDynamics will continue leading the way with innovative solutions .”
